It’s Friday, which means it’s once again time to track down Xur in Destiny 2. Xur appears at a random location every Friday, and because it’s random, Destiny 2 players often find it helpful to search up where Xur is hanging out.
The reason why Destiny 2 players visit Xur every week is because they’re able to buy new Exotic items from him with Xur’s inventory refreshing every week.
If you don’t find what you’re looking for in Xur’s inventory one week, you can always visit him again the following week and see if there’s anything you’re interested in buying. To make things easier, we’ve put together a guide on where you can find Xur in Destiny 2 and all of the Exotic items he’s selling during the week of May 29, 2020.
Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - May 29, 2020

Every week on Friday, Xur pops up at a random location in Destiny 2 and acts as the game’s Exotic goods vendor. To buy items from Xur, you’ll first need to cycle through the locations where Xur is known to appear. Doing this can eat up quite a bit of time, so it makes sense that Destiny 2 players prefer to search for his location online.
Note that if you search for Xur before his spawn time of 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST), you may miss Xur even if you’ve made your way to the correct location. Because of this, we recommend waiting until the aforementioned time before you head out to meet with Xur.
Once Xur arrives in Destiny 2, he remains in the same spot for a few days and sells both Exotic armor pieces and a random Exotic weapon. If you want to buy something from Xur, you have until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST) to do so. After Tuesday, you’ll need to wait until the following Friday to buy Exotic items from Xur again.
During the week of May 29, Xur can be found inside the Hangar area of the Tower. To get to Xur, you’ll first need to head to the Tower, then make your way over to the Hangar. Inside the Hangar, go past the Dead Orbit vendor and up a nearby flight of stairs. At the back of the stairs and off to the left, you’ll find Xur.

During the week of May 29 through June 2, you can visit Xur at the location outlined above. When you speak to Xur, he’ll let you browse through his updated inventory of Exotic items. If you see something you like, you can purchase items from Xur in exchange for Legendary Shards.
Xur’s inventory refreshes every week, so if you don’t see anything you want to buy this week, you can save your Legendary Shards and check back with Xur next week. In addition to Exotic armor for Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters, you can purchase one Exotic weapon from Xur each week as well as a Fated Engram.

During the week of May 29 through June 2 in Destiny 2, Xur is selling The Prospector grenade launcher. It comes rolled with Excavation which allows you to detonate multiple sticky flame grenades at once. If you’re a grenade launcher kind of player, The Prospector isn’t a terrible thing to pick up.
That said, some of the armor that Xur has available this week is pretty great, especially when compared to previous weeks. In particular, we’re huge fans of the Crown of Tempests for Warlock players. If you don’t own one for your Warlock, there’s no harm in spending 23 Legendary Shards to grab it.
If you already own all the Exotic items Xur has available for purchase, or you simply aren’t interested in owning anything Xur’s selling this week, you can always save your Legendary Shards and visit Xur again next week to see if he has something a little more appealing.
