The quick answer to the question of how long it takes to beat Maneater is anywhere from 8-12 hours on average. The amount of time you’ll spend working your way through Maneater’s campaign depends on how you play the game. If you want to rush through everything and get right to the epic conclusion, you could feasibly beat the game in around 8 hours.

If you want to take your time exploring and enjoying your time as a deadly shark, you’re likely looking at closer to 12 hours. The middle ground here is 10 hours. For us, it took 11 hours to beat Maneater. Keep in mind we spent a decent amount of time exploring and terrorizing people on the beach for no objective reason other than it’s fun as hell.

Adding to that, you could definitely spend more than 12 hours in Maneater as you’re able to continue playing the game after beating it. Sadly, there’s no New Game Plus on offer, but there are plenty of collectibles in the game to give you something to do after the campaign is over. Again, the amount of time it’ll take you to beat Maneater is entirely dependent on the way you play.

If you’re short on time and want to rush through Maneater, expect a completion time of 8-9 hours. If you play normally, expect a completion time of 10-11 hours. If you take your time, or go back to find all of the collectibles you missed, you’re looking at 12 hours or more of content.
