If you’re wondering how to save your progress in Maneater, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. First and foremost, there’s no manual save option.

All of your progress is tracked through the game’s internal auto-save feature. As you’re playing, Maneater will regularly auto-save as you make progress, level up, and discover new areas.

The auto-save is pretty reliable, but there can be some anxiety when it comes to relying solely on auto-save. To mitigate this, you can trigger the auto-save through a variety of actions.

For example, leveling up, completing quests and objectives, changing your shark’s upgrades, and returning to the Grotto area which serves as a sort of ‘home’ area.

Your game will also auto-save in the unfortunate event you get caught by a predator and fail to defeat it. Fortunately, you can respawn, and you’ll know the game is auto-saved as well.

Again, Maneater relies solely on its auto-save mechanic to keep track of your progress. The best way to save is to trigger the auto-save whenever possible, and to make sure the auto-save has been triggered before you close out of the game.

Now that you know how to save your progress in Maneater, what do you think of the game? Are you enjoying it so far? Let us know down in the comments below!
