Yesterday was Thursday, today it is Friday… oh, sorry, we meant to say it’s Xur day in Destiny 2! Every Friday, Xur pops up at a random location in Destiny 2, causing players to take to the net to find out where exactly Xur is hanging out.
The main motivation when it comes to find Xur is being able to purchase new Exotic items from him as Xur’s inventory refreshes each week. If you don’t find what you’re looking for in Xur’s inventory one week, you can check back in with him the following week and see if there’s anything you want to buy.
To help simplify things, we’ve put together a guide showing where you can find Xur in Destiny 2 and all of the Exotic items he’s selling during the week of May 15, 2020.
Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - May 15, 2020

On Friday every week, Xur appears at a random location in Destiny 2 and acts as an Exotic goods vendor. To buy items from Xur, you’ll first need to cycle through the locations where Xur typically spawns.
Doing this can eat up quite a bit of time, so it makes sense that Destiny 2 players search up his location online in order to see where exactly Xur is and how to get to him.
Note that if you search for Xur before his spawn time of 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST), you may miss Xur even if you’ve made your way to the correct location. As such, we recommend waiting until the aforementioned time before you head out to meet with Xur.
Once Xur arrives in Destiny 2, he remains in the same spot for a few days and sells both Exotic armor pieces and a random Exotic weapon. If you want to buy something from Xur, you have until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST) to do so.
After Tuesday, you’ll need to wait until the following Friday to buy Exotic items from Xur again. During the week of May 15, Xur can be found on IO in the Giant's Scar region. Specifically, you can spot him inside a cave located to the south of Terrabase Charon.

During the week of May 15 until May 19, you can visit Xur at the location outlined above. When you speak to Xur, you can browse through his updated inventory of Exotic items and purchase items like armor using Legendary Shards.
Xur’s inventory refreshes on a weekly basis, so if you don’t see anything you want to buy this week, you can save your Legendary Shards and check back with Xur next week.

During the week of May 15 through May 19 in Destiny 2, Xur has a D.A.R.C.I. sniper rifle available for purchase. If you're big on PvP, the D.A.R.C.I. sniper rifle can be a useful tool to have in your arsenal, especially if you have phenomenal aim. When you land hits, you can deal an absurd amount of DPS.
Along with the D.A.R.C.I. sniper rifle, Xur has Exotic armor that’s relatively standard based on previous rotations. That said, if you don’t own any of the Exotic armor pieces Xur’s selling this week and need to outfit your Warlock, Titan, or Hunter, it can be worth grabbing pieces like The Sixth Coyote or Claws of Ahamkara.
If you have everything or are uninterested in the Exotic items available for purchase this week, you can save your Legendary Shards and check back with Xur next week as he may have something that’s more up your alley.
