HyperX launches first 60% keyboard with Taiwanese artisans Ducky

The HyperX x Ducky One 2 Mini 60% keyboard crams all the RGB beauty of full-size into a compact package.

HyperX's first 60% keyboard has been unveiled, in collaboration with Taiwanese boutique switchmasters Ducky. The HyperX x Ducky One 2 Mini will be available to buy from 5pm PST on May 12, and you can get a look at all those beautiful keys and colors right now.

As you might expect of a 60% mechanical keyboard, almost half of it is missing which is perfect if you don't have much desk space in your dorms/studio flat. Ducky have been making fan-favorite keyboards since 2010 after serving the hotbed of computer technology in Taiwan as a peripheral manufacturer since 1998.

Ducky have built this special limited run collab with HyperX mechanical switches and their own Ducky PBT Double-Shot keycaps, with all the usual RGB underlighting you might expect from a modern gaming keyboard.

Ducky's zodiac-themed keyboards have caused a stir in Eastern markets, with striking artwork on the spacebar. This first-time collaboration with HyperX will include a Year of the Rat-themed spacebar as a replaceable key, for extra customization. The HyperX x Ducky One 2 Mini also comes with a keycap puller so you don't have to worry about snapping the stems, and a number of red-colored keycaps.

The 60% keyboard has triple-stepped keyboard feet to find the write typing and playing angle, as well as a detachable USB-C cable so you can easily take your setup with you to LAN parties.

There are only 3,700 HyperX x Ducky One 2 Mini 60% keyboards available when they go on sale this May 12, so if you want to grab one don't sleep on this drop.
