Another minor PS4 firmware update

Say hello to 5.05.

Sony has issued another firmware update for PlayStation 4, bringing us up to version 5.05.

As with other minor updates, we're told that it will bring about performance improvements.

The new update weighs in at 357.3MB, so look forward to staring down that familiar progress bar before you get to play anything this evening, unless you have the foresight to switch the console on remotely or as soon as you get in so it can do the downloading in advance.

It sounds like the next proper firmware update for PS4 will be 5.50, with Sony recently asking for beta testers to help get that one over the line.
